In my last post, I did some basic exploratory analysis on my Mutual Fund statement. I started because my regular investment app wasn’t giving me the deeper insights I wanted about my portfolio.
That got me thinking: how could anyone who’s interested get similar insights without handing over their data to be stored somewhere?
So I built a web app called Fundprint.
It is currently in beta and open source. The way it works is simple: you upload your CAS (Consolidated Account Statement) and get the insights. Everything runs in your browser. Close the tab and it’s all gone. Nothing is ever stored anywhere.
I have added Umami for anonymised data on visits and clicks, which I may use for funnel analysis later.
